TVS Raider 125 – Goodbye to petrol, now TVS bikes will run on 85% ethanol, huge savings

TVS Raider 125: Automobile companies are showcasing new cars at Bharat Mobility Show 2024. At this time, companies are showing more inclination towards flex-fuel engines. After Bajaj, TVS Motor Company has introduced flex-fuel motorcycle TVS Raider 125. The bike uses TVS’s Flex-Fuel Technology (FFT). It is capable of running on a blend of petrol with 85 percent ethanol.

TVS Raider 125 flex-fuel bike debuts

TVS Raider 125 is very popular among the younger generation for its styling. This bike is very popular in the commuter segment due to its attractive design. Apart from the engine for the flex-fuel variant, no technical changes are visible. The bike is powered by a 124.8 cc flex-fuel engine capable of running on a blend of 20% ethanol and 80% petrol. It will produce 11.2 bhp of power at 7,500 rpm and 11.2 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. Also, this bike has a 5-speed gearbox.

To handle the braking system, disc brakes are provided on the front wheels and drum brakes on the rear wheels. Also, 17-inch wheels with 80/100 front and 100/90 section rear tires are offered. There are telescopic front and monoshock suspension for comfortable riding.

Talking about the features of TVS Raider 125, like the standard variant, it gets versatile LED lights, all digital instrument cluster, optional Bluetooth connectivity and combi braking system. But it remains to be seen when the flex-fuel version of TVS Raider 125 will hit the Indian market, the company has not given any official information about it.
