Suzuki has introduced an amazing adventure bike called V-Strom 800 DE at India Mobility Global Expo 2024. Also, the Japanese company Suzuki has also unveiled a sophisticated full-fair sports bike, the GSX-8R. This is the first time that both the motorcycles will be launched in India. You may be surprised to hear that Suzuki has used a parallel twin engine in the V-Strom 800 DE.

Suzuki GSX-8R debuts in India

The Suzuki GSX-8R bike was debuted at the Milan Motorcycle Show in Italy in November last year. In terms of mechanical specifications, it is similar to the Suzuki GSX-8S. The bike is powered by a 776 cc liquid-cooled, twin-cylinder engine, which produces 82 bhp of power at 8,500 rpm and 78 Nm of torque at 6,800 rpm. Also, this bike has a six-speed gearbox with bi-directional quick-shifter.

Suzuki GSX-8R: Design

Talking about the design, the GSX-8R’s vertically stacked headlamps give a sharp look, which separates the front cowl that connects to the fairing. The rearview mirror is attached to the fairing. Apart from this, it also has twin LED DRLs. Talking about the rear design, a new two piece tail light has been given at the rear.

Suzuki GSX-8R: Features

Key features of the Suzuki GSX-8R include dual channel ABS, traction control, multiple riding modes, easy start system and low RPM assist. USD front fork and monoshock are provided for suspension. As for the braking system, 310 mm twin front and 240 mm single disc brakes are provided at the rear with four piston calipers. Suzuki is yet to reveal when the motorcycle will be officially launched in India.
